Day 1
On Arrival at Muscat Airport you will be met & transferred to Grand Hyatt or Intercontinental Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
After Breakfast, you will have a half-day city tour to Muscat. Depart from your hotel visiting National Museum and thereafter Grand Mosque (open Saturday to Wednesday from 8 am to 11 am only (correct dress code is compulsory). We also visit the typical Arabian Fish Souq at Muttrah. Continue for a photo stop of the magnificent Al Alam Palace, residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali and the colourful Muttrah Souq. Afternoon at your leisure to explore Muscat. Over night at hotel in Muscat.
Day 3
After breakfast, we drive into one of the most historically interesting interior regions - the Nizwa area, once the capital of Oman, famous for its Round Tower Fort and silverworks. After visiting the Nizwa area visit the walled village of Bahla, famous for its pottery and fable superstition and later proceed to fort Jabrin to visit the magnificent castle built in the country. Overnight at Nizwa hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel we drive towards Sur beautiful and rugged coastline where we can find the boat makers of Oman, using traditional methods, build boats as those that plied the oceans from the third millennium BC. Sur - the centre of boat building industry was closely associated with the 'Baghala' and 'Ghanja' traditional craft. Other native craft still built in Sur include the 'Boom', and the hand sewn 'Sasha', both versatile trading and fishing crafts. Overnight at Sur Beach / Sur Plaza Hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast, we drive back to Muscat to connect flight to Salalah. On arrival in Salalah, you will be met and transferred to Crown plaza Salalah. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6
After breakfast, full day tour of Salalah. Our first stop at Ayn Razat, located at the foot of the Qara Mountains, with its natural springs, rich plants and flowers. Continue up the mountains, home of the Jebalis and their large herds of camel and cattle. In Sumhuram archaeological excavation site we inspect the ruins of this old frankincense port city and its storerooms it is also claimed to be the site of the Palace of the legendary Queen of Sheba. Continue along the coast and stop at Bin Ali Mosque and the grave of one holy man buried here in the 14th Century. Proceed to Mirbat, the former trading place for horses, and stroll around the old part of the town to admire the beautiful architecture and the old Dhofari houses. Drive across the impressive Qara Mountains and head south where the mountains turn lush green to reach Jobs Tomb, visited by Islamic pilgrims. We stop at frankincense trees and a bird sanctuary before reaching Mughasyl Beach, well known for its blow holes, a natural wonder where the sea bursts up dramatically in regular intervals during high tide. Overnight at Crown Plaza Salalah.
Day 7
Breakfast at the hotel. Later transfer to the airport to connect flight to your country of origin.
